Frankincense is obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia which are found in Somalia, in the region of Yemen and parts of India and Pakistan. Incisions are made in the truncks of the trees, and the frankincense exudes as a milk-like juice that hardens on exposure to the air. Frankincense was valued in ancient times in worship and as a medicine and is still an important incense resin, particularly in Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches. The resin is also used in aromatherapy and skin care products and is valued in folk and Eastern medicine.
 
Fragrance notes: A rich, spicy, resinous, woody odour, with lemony top notes and balsamic undertone.

Directions of use:
For Aromatherapy: Add a few drops of essential oil to your diffuser or oil burner to disperse ate aroma in the air.
