Ayrton Senna, the Brazilian F1 racing legend does not need any introduction. He was a Brazilian Formula 1 racing driver who won the World Drivers' Championship in 1988, 1990, and 1991. One of three Formula One drivers from Brazil to become World Champion, Senna won 41 Grands Prix races and set 65 pole positions, with the latter being the record until 2006. Ayrton Senna died as a result of a very unfortunate accident while leading the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix, driving for the Williams team.
This unique clock is his memory. It is made from a 12” recycled vintage vinyl record by a resiliant craftsman from Ukraine. Powered by only a single AA battery, its is very light and fragile. It has smooth flowing and silent seconds hand. The clock makes a precious gift or any true F1 racing or Ayrton Senna fan on a birthday, special occassion or just like that !
The clock was made in and shipped from Ukraine despite the war and it recycles a previously used vintage vinyl record. We at Lanos love to support the concept of artistic upcycling and sustainable practices that create unique gifts like this. It demonstrates a commitment to repurposing materials and finding creative ways to appreciate and preserve the past.
